As a clinician at PCCA, Dr. Adenuga conducts neuropsychological assessments and provides therapy services for children, adolescents, and parents. She earned her master’s and doctorate degrees at Louisiana State University with an emphasis on children and adolescents. She completed her predoctoral internship at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Adenuga’s graduate research focused on racial and ethnic differences in children, adolescents, and parents internalizing disorders. She also conducted research examining evidence-based assessments and treatment interventions for children and adolescents with internalizing and externalizing disorders.
Dr. Adenuga has experience working with individuals across the lifespan providing psychological and neuropsychological assessments and individual therapy for a variety of presenting issues. Further, her areas of speciality include the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and childhood behavioral problems. Dr. Adenuga has experience working in diverse environments including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and private practices. Additionally, she has experience providing consultation and treatment planning.
Dr. Adenuga believes in the importance of using evidence-based assessments and interventions that integrate biopsychosociocultural practices into all levels of psychological service delivery. She integrates cultural and social identity intersections in clinical application. As such, she provides tailored treatment based on distinctive individual and/or family needs. Dr. Adenuga uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a person-centered and strength-based approach.
